Celebrating Gaelic Culture

The Royal National Mod (Am Mòd Nàiseanta Rìoghail) is the biggest celebration of Gaelic culture in the world.

This year, things will be a bit different, as the Mod will be a hybrid event, featuring virtual and in person concerts and competitions.

The gradual return to normality will see the chance to see some of the world’s best Gaelic singers, poets and ceilidh bands perform live. And after a difficult year, it is the ideal time to put your Highland finery on and celebrate.

Whether you are attending the main event at Eden Court Theatre in Inverness, or one of the smaller events dotted around the country that make up the Mod Fringe, you should make sure you look your best in full Highland dress.

And why not add the finishing touch with one of our sgian dubhs?

A staghorn sgian dubh celebrates Scotland’s landscape and heritage in its own way, while you can complete your look with our range of kilt pins and sporrans.

The selection from the Sgian Dubh Company celebrates Scotland’s culture and heritage, and the Mod is the ideal place to show this off.

The Royal National Mod runs from the 8th - 16th of October.
